I'm putting this together like I'm sitting down with my brother, telling him straight what actually happened, not just the good bits. If you're starting from nothing right now, this is for you.

Listen, bro, none of this happened fast, and it definitely didn't happen in a straight line. I stopped completely at one point. I had months where the diet was a mess and my form was embarrassing. I'm not telling you this story so you think it was easy. I'm telling you so you know exactly what it actually took, so when it gets hard for you, you know that's normal, not a sign to quit.

Where it started
I got mocked for being skinny. Someone told me straight up I'd never make it. I didn't have a gym, I didn't have weights, I had a suitcase, so I filled it with stuff and started lifting that. That's it. That's the whole start. No fancy setup, just a decision.

First signs it was working
By September I could actually see something changing. I won't lie to you though, my diet was all over the place, and my deadlift form was still off, genuinely bad. But I was showing up, and that's what mattered more than getting everything perfect.
Starting to see it, Sept 2022My deadlift form back then, rough, but I was in there

I stopped. Completely.
After about three months I just couldn't be asked anymore. I stopped going. I got lazy, plain and simple, started staying home all day just playing PS5 instead of doing anything with myself. This is the part people leave out of their story, but I'm not going to leave it out of yours, because if you stop too, that doesn't mean you failed. It means you're human. What matters is what happens next.

Back in for good this time
I came back because I felt lazy, and because I had something to prove, mostly to myself. From this point on I stayed consistent the whole way through. That's the actual difference-maker, bro, not the workout, not the diet plan, just not stopping again.

Switching it up into calisthenics
By 2024 normal training wasn't challenging me the same way anymore. I needed something harder, so I moved into more bodyweight work: dips, pull-ups, working toward muscle-ups. The first video I've got of a weighted dip is from April 2024, sitting at 25kg. Small number now, but it's where the calisthenics side of this really began.

First muscle-up
This one meant a lot. Muscle-ups aren't just strength, they're technique, you can be strong and still not get one clean. Landing my first one in November 2024 told me the bodyweight focus was actually paying off.

50kg dip
Hit my first 50kg weighted dip. Double what I was doing a year earlier. I was also putting in conditioning work outside the gym around this time, the whole package, not just the lifts.

Multiple muscle-ups, first 25kg pull-ups
This is where it started clicking properly. I went from one muscle-up to managing multiple in a row, and got my first couple of pull-up reps with 25kg added. This was the stretch where I could feel all the earlier consistency actually compounding.

Where I'm at today
85kg weighted dip. 40kg weighted pull-up. 15kg weighted muscle-up. Four years of showing up, stopping once, coming back, and never letting a bad week turn into a bad year. None of this was talent, bro. It was just not quitting on the days I wanted to.
The gym has completely changed my life and my discipline. I can actually look at myself now and feel somewhat proud of what I've built, but I'm not done. There's still more to achieve, and that's the part I want you to take from this most: it doesn't stop at "now," it just becomes the new starting point.

TO WHOEVER IS READING THIS
If you're where I was in 2022, this is for you.
You don't need the perfect gym, the perfect diet, or the perfect plan to start. I started with a suitcase full of random stuff in my room. You just need to start, and you need to be willing to come back after the times you stop, because you probably will stop at some point, and that's fine.
Everything above is real. No shortcuts, no filters on the struggle. If I can go from that first photo to where I am now, you can do it too.
